Xiaomi Launches Redmi Go in India, Priced at Just Rs 4,499 :)

Redmi first launched the NOTE 7 Series ,now perking up it’s budget arsenal by launching much anticipated REDMI GO. It’s most affordable smartphone ,undercutting even the REDMI 6A from last year.

Price and Availability:

REDMI GO has been priced at 4,499 making it the most affordable smartphone ,for the base variant with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with expandable storage. Redmi Go will be available in two color options, namely Blue and Black. It will be available on sale from March 22, 12 noon on Mi.com, Mi Homes, and Flipkart.

This super affordable smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, which is a great processor given in this price. The phone has dual SIM slots as well as support for microSD cards up to 128GB in capacity.

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) out-of-the-box, which seems perfect for an affordable sub-Rs 5,000 smartphone .

The Redmi Go includes a single 8MP (f/2.0) rear sensor and 5MP (f/2.2) selfie lens. The former comes with an LED flash, HDR support, Burst mode, countdown timer, manual mode, real-time filters and scene recognition for 11 different scenes. It is capable of recording videos up to 1080p resolution. The front camera also has support for Auto HDR.

The device comes with a 3,000mAh battery pack on board here and Xiaomi boasts that the device will offer you up to 10 days of standby time. It offers a 5W (5V/1A) microUSB charger with the device. All usual connectivity options are in tow, including a dual-SIM tray, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS :]

Redmi Note 7 Pro Launched in India; Starts at Rs. 13,999

Alongside the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi took the stage today for the global debut of the Redmi Note 7 Pro — which can be looked at as a more powerful version of the Redmi Note 7. The phone enters the budget market segment of the smartphone market in India, and if the Redmi Note 5 Pro (and even the Redmi Note 6 Pro) is anything to go by, this should be wildly popular as well.

Pricing and Availability:

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced starting at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The phone will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart from 13th March.

Key Features:

While the Redmi Note 7 Pro definitely looks like a pretty impressive smartphone from Xiaomi. First off, it looks good thanks to the 2.5D curved glass design on both the front and the back. Plus, there’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the back so it won’t get scratched up easily. Of course, there’s a Type-C port here as well, and the phone retains the headphone jack. The best part though, is that the phone uses the Sony IMX586 48MP camera, unlike the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, and it supports 4K video recording at 30FPS.

The Redmi Note 7 will be available in India starting from 6th March, at a price of Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. Key Features:

Among the many improvements that the Redmi Note 7 brings over its predecessors, there are a couple of notable improvements. For starters, the Redmi Note 7 finally makes the shift to USB-C, which is definitely a great thing. Along with that, the phone has a 12MP sensor with a larger pixel size to ensure better low light photography.
